Sudoku rules:

  • Each row or column contain each number of 1 to 9.
  • The sum of all numbers in 3x3 grid must equal to 45.
  • Any number from 1 to 9 must be used once inside the row and column of 9x9 grid.


How do you solve sudoku puzzle. For the beginner or new to sudoku puzzle, solving the puzzle is complete mystery. Even thou sudoku seems a mathematical puzzle, without an appropriate solutions or techniques, solving the puzzle will become a complete guessing game.

There are many technique use in Sudoku, but as for beginner you may start first to use Crosshatching technique. You will fill first an empty cells in any of the 4 3x3 grid across. Then find the missing number, since you can only use once any number from 1 to 9 in row or column. As you play, and the more you understand how to solve the puzzle, you will be able to gain or develop new techniques.
